53. Rallye Český Krumlov 22.-23.5.2026
Die Rallye Český Krumlov, ein offizieller FIA‑ERT‑Lauf und Teil der tschechischen Rallye‑Meisterschaft, fand am Pfingstwochenende statt. Mit dabei waren auch die Teutonen mit Martin Huber und Co‑Pilot Sebastian Ober im Toyota Celica GT4 ST205. Bereits am Mittwoch und Donnerstag wurden die Wertungsprüfungen besichtigt und die Pace Notes erstellt. Am Freitagnachmittag fiel in Budweis der Startschuss zur rund 500 Kilometer langen Rallye mit etwa 160 Kilometern Wertungsprüfungen. Besonders anspruchsvoll war die legendäre Malonti‑Prüfung, fast 28 Kilometer lang und zweimal zu absolvieren.
Der Auftakt verlief zunächst problemlos, doch in der Nachtprüfung Pridoli 2 erwischte das Team einen Stein und erlitt zwei Reifenschäden. Die Crew kämpfte sich fünf Kilometer bis ins Ziel, wechselte einen Reifen direkt vor Ort und musste den zweiten vom Serviceteam organisieren, da nur ein Ersatzreifen mitgeführt werden darf.
Die letzte Freitagsprüfung musste dadurch ausgelassen werden, doch am Samstag starteten Huber und Ober erneut. Auf der zweiten Malonti‑Prüfung folgte ein weiterer Reifenschaden vorne links. Nach dem Wechsel kommentierte Co‑Pilot Sebastian Ober begeistert: „So bist du noch nie gefahren!“ – denn trotz der Probleme überholte das Team sogar noch einen anderen Teilnehmer auf der Strecke.
Auf der abschließenden Prüfung Malsin kam es zu einem Slow Puncture, doch das Duo brachte den Celica souverän ins Ziel. Vor hunderten von Zuschauern überquerten sie die Zielrampe in Krumlov. Ein Offizieller meinte im Parc Fermé anerkennend: „It’s one of the most beautiful cars in our rallye.“
Trotz aller Zwischenfälle steht für das Team fest: Nächstes Jahr sind wir wieder dabei!

The Rallye Český Krumlov, an official FIA ERT round and part of the Czech Rally Championship, took place over the Pentecost weekend. Among the competitors were the Teutonen team with Martin Huber and co‑driver Sebastian Ober in their Toyota Celica GT4 ST205. Reconnaissance was carried out on Wednesday and Thursday, during which the crew prepared their pace notes. On Friday afternoon, the rally officially started in České Budějovice, launching a demanding 500‑kilometre event featuring around 160 kilometres of special stages. One of the highlights was the legendary Malonti stage, nearly 28 kilometres long and run twice.
The opening stages went smoothly, but during the night stage Pridoli 2, the team struck a rock and suffered two punctures. They fought their way through the final five kilometres to the finish, changed one tyre on the spot, and had to rely on the service crew for a second replacement, as only one spare is permitted in the car.
As a result, they were unable to start the final Friday stage, but Huber and Ober rejoined the rally on Saturday. On the second run of the Malonti stage, another puncture occurred on the front left. After the tyre change, co‑driver Sebastian Ober remarked enthusiastically: “You’ve never driven like this before!” – and indeed, despite the setback, the team even managed to overtake another competitor on the stage.
On the final stage, Malsin, the crew encountered a slow puncture, but still brought the Celica safely to the finish. In front of hundreds of spectators, they crossed the ceremonial finish ramp in Krumlov. In the Parc Fermé, an official commented admiringly:
“It’s one of the most beautiful cars in our rally.”
Despite all the challenges, one thing is certain for the team: they will be back next year.
